The Museum of Vehicles and Railway Technology in Chabówka ( Polish: Skansen taboru kolejowego w Chabówce ) is a museum in Chabówka near Rabka-Zdrój in Poland .
history
The museum was founded in 1993.
It is located on the site of a former railway depot with a locomotive shed from the Second World War. The first exhibitions of historic rail vehicles have been held since the 1980s.

In its collection, the museum has 51 locomotives, 8 of which are to be kept running, 55 wagons, 5 snow plows and a number of other devices.
Some of the locomotives come from Fablok from Chrzanów . The oldest locomotive was built in 1878.
It is the only collection in Poland that not only focuses on generic Polish and formerly German vehicles, but also pays attention to the old Austrian railway history. Chabówka was in Austria-Hungary until 1918.
Train rides
Currently, only special trains are offered to order, whereby the trains are put together according to the customer's wishes. The museum's vehicles are also used for filming.
In addition, steam locomotive parades have taken place once a year since 2005.
