The Museum of Broadcast Communications ( MBC ) in Chicago is a museum of radio and television history . It houses the National Radio Hall of Fame of the United States .

The museum opened in Chicago's South Loop in 1987 and was located in the Chicago Cultural Center from 1992 to 2003 . The new opening in Chicago Loop , which was originally planned for 2005, will provide the museum with an area of ​​around 7000 m². The move should be completed by the end of 2009.

According to the website, the MBC was the fourteenth most visited cultural institution in Chicago in 2003 with over 200,000 visitors.
