Museum of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg)
The Museum of Fine Arts is located in St. Petersburg , in Pinellas County in the US state of Florida . It opened in 1965 and was founded by Margaret Acheson Stuart .
It is considered the best art museum in the Tampa Bay region with more than 14,000 works of art from antiquity to the present, and Florida's most prestigious photography collection with more than 10,000 photographs. The museum is one block north of the St. Petersburg Pier on the water.
