musical.ly was one of the company musical.ly Inc. developed and commercialized social media - App , which saw itself through its purely technical functionality but also as a social media platform for their registered users. The users, referred to as musers , filmed themselves with their own mobile phone camera and move their lips in sync with a self-selected full playback song.
