Music Council of the GDR
The GDR Music Council was the umbrella organization for all music institutions in the GDR . It was founded on May 9, 1962 in Berlin by Hanns Eisler . The office was located on Leipziger Strasse . Members were well-known composers, musicologists, performers and music organizations. On June 18, 1966, he was in the International Music Council of UNESCO added. In 1990 she joined the German Music Council .
