Musk Ming is a Chinese artist and musician.

Life

Musk Ming was born in China ; he has lived and worked in Berlin since 2005 . He combines old traditions of Chinese painting with modern new techniques. His art visualizes the "old soul of China", and through the unusual background of life and studies, he has discovered the diversity of the most diverse cultures in the world. The art reflects international and intercultural aspects.

Its name is composed of the English word "Musk" ("She Xiang" in Chinese) for musk , which is a luxurious fragrance and is also used in Chinese medicine. His grandmother called him “Ming” because this name is used in China for brightness and clarity.

Musk Ming's work Go West was selected by the jury for the Olympic Fine Arts 2008 exhibition in Beijing . Shortly before the opening, his work was judged off by the Ministry of Culture because it was too free. He has also been producing music since 2013.
