Mustapha Marong

Mustafa Landing Marong is a Gambian lawyer and politician.

Life

Marong served as a public prosecutor in Gambia from 1994. He was then on 20 March 1995 as Minister of Justice and Attorney General ( English Attorney General and Secretary of State for Justice ) by the leader of the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council , Yahya Jammeh , the Cabinet appointed. Maron replaced Fafa Edrissa Mbye and remained in office until January 18, 1996, when he took over the position of Director of Maritime and Shipping Services at the Gambia Ports Authority (GPA).
