Sample bracket
A sample clip or sample bag clip , also called round head clip , spreader clip , flat head clip or unspecific bag clip , is a clip made of metal that closes mailing bags , sample bags and the like.
Since sample clips are reusable, they guarantee the non-destructive opening and reclosing of the packaging . This is done, for example, for control purposes when sending books or goods .
Sample clips are made from sheet metal with round or flat heads in various sizes. There are also versions made of plastic. The two ends are of different lengths to make it easier to bend the clamp.
In the past, these sample clips were also known as post clips .
The clamps are also required for assembling the Moravian Christmas star.
