The private open-air museum Podorlický skanzen Krňovice (Eagle Mountain Foreland Open-Air Museum in Krniowitz) is located near Krňovice near Třebechovice pod Orebem in the Czech Republic . It focuses on architectural and technical monuments of the Hradec Králové region . It is carried by the Dřevozpracující družstvo company and the Czech Nature Conservation Association. The original location of the museum was the village of Bělečkointended. Although a suitable plot of land had already been acquired there, the museum had to look for another location due to the increasingly negative attitude of the village and in particular of the mayor at the time, which was finally found in the village of Krňovice. The museum has been continuously expanded since 2002 - also with voluntary work. A new building can be opened about every 1–2 years. The museum regularly organizes events related to historical technology and handicrafts as well as theme days on weekends.
