history

The first written mention of Krňovice took place in 1362 as the Vladikensitz . The church has been documented since 1393. Later the estate was attached to the Třebechovice Fortress. In 1496 Johanka von Březovice sold the Třebechovice Fortress, inherited from her father Přibík Kroměšín von Březovice, with the Třebechovice farm, several towns and eleven villages, including Krňovice, to Nicholas the Elder for 5000 Czech groschen J. Trčka from Lípa , who united it with his Opočno estate . After the death of Jan Rudolf Trčka von Lípa , the Opočno domain was confiscated by King Ferdinand II and pledged to the brothers Hieronymus and Rudolf von Colloredo-Waldsee in 1635 . From 1789 the Counts Colloredo- Mannsfeld followed, who owned the estate until the middle of the 19th century.

In 1836 the village of Krniowitz , located in the Königgrätzer Kreis , consisted of 22 houses in which 151 people, including 21 Protestants, lived. In the village there was the Catholic branch church of the Assumption of Mary belonging to the parish of Hohenbruck and an inn. The Protestant prayer house was in a monastery . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village remained subject to the Opočno manor.

After the abolition of patrimonial Krňovice formed from 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Königgrätz . From 1868 the community belonged to the Königgrätz district . The Protestants were repared from Kloster to Hohenbruck in 1870. In 1927 Krňovice had 131 inhabitants.

1949 Krňovice was assigned to the Okres Hradec Králové-okolí; this was repealed in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then the municipality has belonged to Okres Hradec Králové. On June 14, 1964, Krňovice was incorporated into Třebechovice. On March 3, 1991 the place had 76 inhabitants; in the 2001 census there were again 76 people living in the 28 houses in Krňovice.
