history

The forests on the Třebechovická tabule were uninhabited until the beginning of the 12th century and formed the hunting domain of the Přemyslids . The existence of the royal court Chwoyno has been handed down from the year 1139, in the vicinity of which a few small settlements were probably established, which together with the court formed settlement enclaves in the jungle area.

The village Kleine Bělč was first mentioned on April 9, 1336, when King John of Luxembourg took over the town and the fortress Chvojno with the associated nine villages Albrechtsdorf , Běleč , Kleine Bělč , Ekleinsdorf , Hermansdorf , Chvojence Nízké , Hoděšovice , Tiezmansdorf and Walthersdorf pledged 2000 shock groschen to the brothers Pertholt, Heinrich and Johann von Leipa . Heinrich von Münsterberg later acquired the Chvojno estate and sold it to Wilhelm von Pernstein in 1491 . In the Kunburg land register from 1494, 20 properties are listed for Bělček Malý .

Wilhelm von Pernstein bequeathed his Bohemian goods to his younger son Vojtěch in 1521 , after his death they passed to his brother Johann in 1534 . In 1548 he left his son Jaroslav in high debt. On March 21, 1560 Jaroslav von Pernstein sold the entire rule of Pardubitz to King Ferdinand I. His successor Maximilian II transferred the administration of the royal lords to the court chamber . From 1588 the village was called Bělečko Malé and from 1777 as Bělečko .

In 1835 the village Bieletschko or Bělečko , also called Klein-Bieltsch , in the Chrudim district consisted of 43 houses in which 345 people lived. There was a forester's house in the village. The parish was Beyscht . Until the middle of the 19th century Bieletschko remained subordinate to the kk camera rule Pardubitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Malá Bělč formed a municipality in the judicial district of Holitz from 1849 . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district of Pardubice . In 1869 Malá Bělč had 510 inhabitants and consisted of 52 houses. In 1865 the industrialist Johann Liebieg acquired the forests on the Hohenbrucker Tafel, from 1884 they belonged to Alexander Margrave von Pallavicini on Jemnice . With 532 inhabitants, the village reached its highest population in 1880. In the years 1880 to 1881 a school house was built in which five classes were taught. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1887. The village square was planted with linden trees in 1900. In 1900 455 people lived in the village, in 1910 there were 393. After the founding of Czechoslovakia , the forest dominion of the Marquis of Pallavicini was expropriated and divided up in the course of the land reform in 1921. In 1924 the name of the municipality was changed to Bělečko . The village was electrified in 1927. In 1930 Bělečko had 307 inhabitants. In 1949 Bělečko was assigned to the Okres Holice. The school closed in 1963. Since 1960 the community has belonged again to Okres Pardubice . On April 30, 1976 it was incorporated into Býšť. In 1991 Bělečko only had 111 inhabitants. In 1998 a waterworks was put into operation. In the 2001 census, 133 people lived in the 79 houses in Bělečko. Today, the woodworking cooperative Dřevozpracující družstvo , which is also one of the sponsors of the Muzeum Skanzen Krňovice , produces in the schoolhouse .
