Nová Ves (German Neudorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 18 kilometers southeast of the city center of Hradec Králové and belongs to the Okres Rychnov nad Kněžnou .
geography
The scattered settlement lies to the left of the confluence of the Wilder Adler and Stiller Adler on the Hohenbrucker Tafel (Třebechovické tabule) . Nová Ves is surrounded by forests to the south, west and east, while the Novoveský rybník reservoir, fed by the Novoveský creek, is located on the southern edge of the village . Further south there is another large fish pond, the Starožďárský rybník . The state road 305 from Týniště nad Orlicí to Borohrádek and the railway between Týniště nad Orlicí and Choceň , where the nearest train station is in Žďár nad Orlicí, run east of the village .
Neighboring towns are Albrechtice nad Orlicí in the northeast, Tůmovka and Světlá in the east, Horní Žďár and Žďár nad Orlicí in the southeast.
history
Between 1571 and 1573 a large fish pond was set up in the unpopulated forest area of the Hohenbrucker Tafel under the supervision of the Pardubice fish master Matouš Křižanovský z Živanic. In 1575 the Pardubitz rule released the area north of the Teichdamm for settlement and the first scrap wood sloops were built.
After the replacement of patrimonial, the community belonged to the district administration Pardubitz from 1850, the district court was in Holitz .
