Žďár nad Orlicí (German Brand ad Adler ) is a municipality with 436 inhabitants in Eastern Bohemia (Czech Republic). It is located three kilometers northwest of Borohrádek at 257 m above sea level. M. and belongs to the district Rychnov nad Kněžnou in the Hradec Kralove Region on.
geography
The place through which the Žďárský potok flows is located on the left bank of the Silent Adler , which joins the Wild Eagle to the Adler a good kilometer north . The districts of Chotiv and Světlá lie between the two rivers on the left bank of the Wild Adler, the latter directly at the confluence.
Neighboring towns are Nová Ves in the northwest, Albrechtice in the north and Borohrádek in the southeast.
