history
On the rocky spur above the Liberský potok valley, there was Rychmberk Castle in the 14th century , next to which the village, which has been documented since 1310, was built. In 1367 a wooden church was built near the castle. Rychmberg Castle was subject to a total of 26 villages, including Bělá, which was first mentioned in 1406. In 1425 the Hussites took the castle; 1458 was carried out on the orders of George of Podebrady its razing . The church was also demolished.
In 1691 a new scrap wood church was built on the site of the previous church . After the replacement of patrimonial Rehberg became an independent municipality in 1848, which from 1850 belonged to the district administration Rychnov nad Kněžnou . In 1856 the church was elevated to a parish church. Up to the beginning of the 20th century there were roughly equal proportions of Czechs and Germans in Rehberg; both population groups had their own schools. Until the Second World War, the proportion of the German population that was expelled after the war grew. Today the community consists of 437 houses.
