The village Dolní Roveň (German: Unterrowen , older also Walthersdorf (1336), Nieder Walthersdorf ) is located in the Pardubice district in the Czech Republic . It is located about 4.5 km southwest of the town of Holice and runs along the Lodrantky brook. Around 2000 people live in Dolní Roveň.
history
In 1336 the place was first mentioned in a document under the German place name Walthersdorf . When it was founded as a Waldhufendorf, the place was part of the German-speaking Ostpardubitz language island that existed in pre-Hussite times.
