history

Přepychy was first mentioned in 1337. After the fall of the Hradišťko Castle, the village belonged to the Žiželice estate , which was acquired by the Lords of Pernstein in the 16th century . In 1543 Johann von Pernstein sold the reign to King Ferdinand I. In 1611, King Matthias signed the Chlumetz and Žiželice reigns over to Wenzel Count Kinsky von Wchinitz and Tettau , who united the two domains, for loyal service in obtaining the Bohemian Crown .

In 1833 the village of Přepich , located in the Bijov district , consisted of 35 houses, in which 190 people lived. There was an inn and a mill in the village. The parish was Wapno . Until the middle of the 19th century Přepich remained subject to the Fideikommissherrschaft Chlumetz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Přepychy formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Vápno in the judicial district of Chlumetz . From 1868 the village belonged to the Neubydžow district . In 1869 Přepychy had 191 inhabitants and consisted of 28 houses. In 1900 there were 195 people in Přepychy, in 1910 there were 215. Přepychy broke away from Vápno in 1904 and formed its own community. In 1930 Přepychy had 221 inhabitants and consisted of 44 houses. After the Second World War, the Kinsky counts' large estates were expropriated. In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Přelouč, since 1960 Přepychy belongs to the Okres Pardubice . In the 2001 census, 78 people lived in the 40 houses in the community.
