The first written mention of the village belonging to the rule Hradišťko- Žiželice took place in 1521, when Wilhelm Kostka von Postupitz sold the rule together with the rule Chlumetz to Vojtěch von Pernstein . Johann von Pernstein , who had acquired the dominions in 1533, sold them to King Ferdinand I , who united them in 1547 to form a chamberlain for Chlumetz. In 1611 King Matthias signed the Chlumetz Chamber of Commerce for loyal service in obtaining the Bohemian Crown to Count Wenzel Kinsky von Wchinitz and Tettau . After he invaded the parish church of St. Ursula in Chlumetz in 1620 to stop Hussite services, a rebellion broke out in the area. In 1775 there was a great peasant revolt in the Chlumetz rule.

In 1833, the village of Klein-Wiklek , located in the Bijov district , consisted of 21 houses in which 154 people lived. There was an inn in the village. The parish was Wapno . Until the middle of the 19th century, Klein-Wiklek remained subject to the Fideikommissherrschaft Chlumetz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Malé Vykleky formed a community in the judicial district of Chlumetz from 1849 . From 1868 the village formed a district of the municipality Vápno in the district of Neubydžow . In 1869 Malé Vykleky had 180 inhabitants and consisted of 29 houses. In 1900 there were 238 people in Malé Vykleky , in 1910 there were 236. Malé Vykleky broke away from Vápno in 1904 and formed its own community. The official place name was changed to Malé Výkleky in 1921 . In 1930 Malé Výkleky had 198 inhabitants and consisted of 47 houses. After the Second World War, the Kinsky counts' large estates were expropriated. In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Přelouč, since 1960 Malé Výkleky belongs to the Okres Pardubice .
