Svojšice ( German Swojschitz ) is a municipality with 204 (July 3, 2006) inhabitants in the Pardubice region ( Pardubický kraj , Czech Republic).
geography
The place is on the edge of the Swintschaner Forest at the confluence of the streams Struha (Strouha) and Small Struha (Malá Strouha).
history
The village was first mentioned in 1346. The castle, built in 1365, was abandoned after the Thirty Years War , the ruins of the towers and residential buildings are still preserved.

There is a road that leads from Chrtníky in the north through the village to Stojice to main road 17.
Culture and sport
In addition to the volunteer fire brigade, there is a hunting association and the Svojšice sports club. There is also a larger natural open-air stage on the outskirts, which has been used for music festivals and other cultural events since the 1980s.
