Třebosice ( German  Trebositz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers southwest of the city center of Pardubice on the city limits and belongs to the Okres Pardubice .

Třebosice is located on the right side of the Bylanka brook on the Heřmanoměstecká tabule ( Hermannstädtler Tafel ). Pardubice Airport is located in the northern part of the district .

Neighboring towns are Popkovice and Svítkov in the north, Nové Jesenčany in the northeast, Staré Jesenčany in the east, Blato , Medlešice and Dřenice in the southeast, Třibřichy , Bylany and Rozhovice in the south, Dubany in the southwest, Barchov in the west and Starý Mateřov in the northwest.

history

Archaeological finds show that the area has been inhabited since the Neolithic ; the most important find is a 6000 year old ceramic miniature sculpture of a goat's head, which can be assigned to the Lengyel culture .

Třebosic was first mentioned in writing in 1316. The church has been recorded in confirmation books since 1375. The village was the seat of the Vladiks of Třebosice in the 14th and 15th centuries . The first proven member of this family was Man from Třebosice, who was mentioned in 1410 in the course of a dispute between Boček from Podebrady and Jan from Zdechovice. From 1484 the widow Adlička von Třebosice owned the estate. After her death, Čéč was to receive the estate from Nemyšleves; but Martin Holec from Nemošice also made claims. King Ladislaus Jagiello awarded Třebosice to Martin Holec in 1496. In 1503 Jindřich von Duban bought the Třebosice manor on Dubany and combined both goods. The subsequent owners of the estate were the brothers Burian and Zikmund Anděl from Ronovec on Morašice , who jointly bought the Heřmanův Městec estate in 1538 . In 1542 they divided the property; Burian received Morašice; Heřmanův Městec and Třebosice fell to Zikmund Anděl von Ronovec. That same year, Zikmund Anděl his wife overwrote one abutment of 750 pence on the estate Třebosice. Below the lower Třebosice pond, Zikmund Anděl von Ronovec had a new large pond built; To compensate for the flooded Jesnitschan corridors, he had to compensate the affected landowners with other land near Jesnitschan. Zikmund Anděl von Ronovec lost his property in 1547 because of participating in the uprising against the Habsburgs. The parish of Třebosice became extinct during the Thirty Years' War and the church became a branch of the Pardubice dean church. In 1787 a restaurant was donated in Třebosice at the expense of the religious fund.

In 1835 the village Třebositz , located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 24 houses in which 148 people lived. Under the patronage of the religious fund, the local church of St. Exaltation of the Cross and the Localist House; under the imperial patronage the school. There was also a three-course mill in the village. To the west of the village were the Kameneg, Sedlaček and Paschek ponds. Třebositz was the parish for Groß Jesnitschan , Mateřow , Popkowitz , Dřenitz and Duban as well as 9 houses of Blatto . Until the middle of the 19th century, Třebositz remained subject to the Imperial and Royal Chamber of Commerce Pardubice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Třebosice formed from 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Pardubice . From 1868 the community belonged to the Pardubitz district . The ponds were drained in the second half of the 19th century. In 1879 a new school building was built. During the First Republic , the Pardubice military airfield was built south of Popkovice. 1949 Třebosice was assigned to the Okres Pardubice-okolí. This was lifted in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then the village has belonged again to the Okres Pardubice. In 1964 it was incorporated into Starý Mateřov . Since November 24, 1990, the municipality of Třebosice exists again. The mill burned down in 2009. Since 2015 the community has had a coat of arms and a banner; it shows the Neolithic goat's head. The Montessori school "Na rovině", which previously taught in Lázně Bohdaneč , has been located in the schoolhouse since 2015 .

  • Church of the Exaltation of the Cross, the original Romanesque building was later redesigned and expanded in the Gothic style.
  • Baroque wooden bell tower, south of the church. The oldest of the three bells dates from 1464 and was donated to the church by Wilhelm von Duban. The big and small bells are from 1611, the inscription on the big bell reads Jan Nason Landskronsky Farař Třebosicky .
