history
The first written mention of Dědúsov was in 1545. Dědúsov was originally a knight's seat . In the middle of the 16th century, the knights Jeník Zásadský von Gamsendorf acquired the estate and united it with Štěpánov. After the battle of the White Mountain , the Štěpánov estate belonging to Adam Předborský was confiscated and sold to Christoph Simon von Thun , who added it to his reign, Choltitz .
In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim District village located Jedausow or Gedausow of 32 houses in which 217 people, including a Protestant family lived. The main source of income was agriculture. There was an inn in the village; A large sheep farm ( Horecký Dvůr ) was situated apart . The parish was Swintschan . Until the middle of the 19th century Jedausow remained subject to the Fideikommissherrschaft Choltitz.
After the abolition of patrimonial Jedousov formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Choltice in the judicial district Přelauč . From 1868 the village belonged to the Pardubice district . The long-time mayor Václav Morávek had the chapel built in 1890 and initiated the establishment of a volunteer fire brigade in 1900.
Jedousov broke away from Choltice in 1902 and formed a separate municipality with the districts of Horecký Dvůr and Loděnice. After the First World War, about 400 people lived in Jedousov. In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Přelouč. This was lifted in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then Jedousov belongs to the Okres Pardubice.
