Jenik Zásadský von Gamsendorf was a Catholic Bohemian aristocratic family, whose ancestor Peter Jenik is known around 1550. His son Jan Jenik was a judge in Zásada . The name Zásadský is derived from this place .

history

The Bohemian nobility confirmation for the von Gamsendorf family took place on June 27, 1637. It was given to the brothers Nicolaus, Georg, Matthias and Wenzel and their cousin Johann Jenik Gemsdorf. On December 22nd, 1644 he was accepted into the knighthood in Linz . Georg Jenik Zásadský, knight of Gamsendorf on Březina and Zahrádka , was accepted into the Austrian baron class on March 1, 1811 in Vienna . He was an imperial-royal captain in the Landwehr .

From 1780–1849 the East Bohemian rule Zámrsk was owned by the Zásadský family from Gamsendorf.

The Čížkov village was also owned by the family

The last male successor to the family was Friedrich Jenik Zásadský von Gamsendorf, who died on August 31, 1942 at the Battle of Stalingrad . His father, knight Hugo Jenik Zásadský, was an Austrian councilor .
