history
The original name Bělá probably derives from the predominantly light sandy soils. The first written mention of the village took place in 1282, when the Bukůvký lords of Bukůvka on Bukovka in Bělá a St. Georg built a wooden chapel dedicated to him. When the estate was divided between the five brothers Rohovlad, Bohuněk, Beneš, Mikuláš and Jan Bukůvký from Bukůvka, Bělá fell to Rohovlad Bukůvký in 1375. The Bukůvký von Bukůvka family held the village until the 15th century. In 1513, the heirs of Bavor Bukovský von Hustiřan sold the fortress Bukovka with the villages Bukovka, Habřinka and Bělá, the desert fortress Jílovka and the desert village Mokrý to Wilhelm von Pernstein . When Jaroslav von Pernstein sold the Kunburg reign to King Ferdinand I in 1560 , Bělá was one of their estates. In 1767 the new church was built. The branch church of St. Peter and Paul, which belongs to the parish of Bohdanetsch , received its own localist in 1781. In 1807 the church was elevated to a parish church, but the Bohdanetsch pastor still owned agricultural land and farm buildings in Bělá.
In 1835 the village Biela or Běla in the Chrudim district consisted of 45 houses in which 382 people lived, including three Protestant and two Jewish families. The parish church of St. Peter and Paul and the school were under the patronage of the religious fund. There was also a large stone Jewish house with a synagogue and a catchy mill in the village . Biela was the parish for Bukowka , Habřinka , Habřina vlčj , Sopertsch , Wischenowitz , Unter-Kasalitz , Ober-Kasalitz , Woletsch and Žarowitz . Until the middle of the 19th century Biela remained subordinate to the kk camera rule Pardubitz.
After the abolition of patrimonial Bělá formed a municipality in the judicial district of Přelauč from 1849 . From 1868 the community belonged to the Pardubitz district . By order of the Linguistic Commission in Prague in 1923 the place name was changed to Rohovládova Bělá . 1949 Rohovládova Bělá was assigned to the Okres Přelouč; this was repealed in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then the community has belonged to Okres Pardubice.
