Voleč ( German Woletsch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 18 kilometers northwest of the city center of Pardubice and belongs to the Okres Pardubice .
geography
Voleč is located on the Dobřenická plošina ( Dobrzenitzer plateau ). On the eastern edge of the village, in the headwaters of the Sopřečský potok, are the ponds Nový rybník, Beránek and Březinský rybnik. To the north rises the Soudný (288 m nm), in the northwest the Jitra (272 m nm). The state road I / 36 between Nové Město and Lázně Bohdaneč runs through the village ; Dálnice 11 / E 67 runs north .
Neighboring towns are Na Obci, V Australii, Chudeřice , Káranice and Obědovice in the north, Kratonohy , Michnovka and Kasalicky in the Northeast, Kasalice , Triden and Ve Střídmí the east, Rohovládova Bělá , Na Samote and Vyšehněvice the southeast, Sopřeč to south, Žáravice , America , Vápno and Přepychy in the southwest, Malé Výkleky in the west and Chýšť and Stará Voda in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village took place in 1398. The first known owners were the brothers Mareš and Jan von Vyšeňovice, who in 1403 founded the chaplain in Bělá . Johanka von Hustířan, Kunata d. J. Dobrženský from Dobrženitz and Vojtěch from Pernstein . The latter joined the estate to his rule Pardubitz . On March 21, 1560 Jaroslav von Pernstein sold the entire Pardubice reign to King Ferdinand I. At that time, Voleč consisted of 16 properties, including a Kretscham with a bathhouse. King Maximilian II transferred the administration of the royal lordships to the court chamber . During the Thirty Years' War the village was looted and burned down. Until the 18th century, Voleč was located in an extensive forest area and was surrounded by a system of ponds.
In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim District village located Woletsch or Woleč of 46 houses in which 339 people, including six Protestant and two Jewish families lived. The parish was Biela . Until the middle of the 19th century Woletsch remained subordinate to the kk camera rule Pardubitz.
After the abolition of patrimonial Voleč formed from 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Přelauč . Emperor Franz Joseph I pledged the kk camera rule Pardubitz in 1855 as a government bond to the Oesterreichische Nationalbank , which sold the rule on June 25, 1863 to the kk privileged Österreichische Credit-Anstalt für Handel und Gewerbe. In 1866 the industrialist Heinrich Drasche bought the manor of Pardubitz. From 1868 the community belonged to the Pardubitz district . In 1869 Voleč had 441 inhabitants and consisted of 61 houses. On June 18, 1881 Richard von Drasche-Wartinberg bought the manors of Pardubitz and Kunětická Hora for 2,080,000 guilders from his father's inheritance. At the end of the 19th century Voleč experienced its heyday; the new districts Na Obci and Na Silnici emerged, in 1890 the community had 495 inhabitants. During this time a school was also built. In 1900 there were 478 people in Voleč, compared to 484 in 1910. After the establishment of Czechoslovakia , in the course of the land reform of 1920, the large estates of the Drasche-Wartinberg family were confiscated and divided up. In 1930 the community had 425 inhabitants. In 1949 Voleč was assigned to the Okres Přelouč, since 1960 the municipality has belonged again to the Okres Pardubice . In the 2001 census, 309 people lived in Voleč's 114 houses. At the beginning of the 21st century, the former school was converted into a municipal office; the new highway separated the village from the forest area Vršecký les .
