history

The first written mention of a farm and farm belonging to Jan Zábrdovec comes from 1387. A fortress was established under the Žitovlický from Slivno, who owned the farm between 1534 and 1585.

Between 1398 and 1411, the Vladiken Jiřík and Jan von Obědovice can be traced as the owners of another farm. The subsequent owners of this part were in the period from 1413 to 1464 Velislav from Dlouhé Dvory, Kuneš from Voděrady and Jan Brus from Obědovice, and from 1467 Arnošt from Kunvald and Havel from Štěpánov. He was briefly followed by Wilhelm II of Pernstein , who passed the village on to Jan Bartoušovský of Labouň. A fortress, presumably built between the 14th and 15th centuries, was described as desolate in 1545 when, after the death of Vilém Turský from Dřevěnice, his sisters sold the estate to Petr Holovouský from Holovousy. Holovouský had the fortress renewed and in 1584 sold it together with the farm to Zikmund Bořanovský from Bitýška on Chlumetz .

In 1609 the captain of the Königgrätzer Kreis , Johann Christoph von Waldstein auf Arnau, acquired both shares. From 1612 both fortresses and courtyards belonged to the castle captain of Poděbrady , Mikuláš Klusák from Kostelec. After the battle of the White Mountain , its goods were confiscated and in 1622 given to Count Wenceslas Kinsky in exchange for the Kolín rule . This left Obědovice to settle his debts to the Dobřenský of Dobřenice , who connected the goods to the Kratonohy rule. During this time both festivals were extinguished.

After the abolition of patrimonial rule, the municipality Obědovice was established in the Hradec Králové district in 1850. Between 1949 and 1960 Obědovice belonged to the Okres Hradec Králové-okolí. On January 1, 1961 Obědovice was incorporated into Kratonohy and at the same time came back to Okres Hradec Králové. After the Velvet Revolution, Obědovice became independent again in 1990.
