history

The first written mention of the village came in 1339, when Vaněk von Ždánice sold the village Ždánice to the Opatovice monastery . In 1399 the place was inscribed in the land table as the property of Jan Tluksa of Čistěves and Syrovátka. At the beginning of the 15th century the Dobřenský family of Dobřenice bought the goods. Thereafter, the property belonged to Catherine of Onšov, after her death in 1482 King Vladislav II inherited the property. This passed Syrovátka on to Jan von Onšov. Shortly afterwards, the village was divided. Burjan Stranovský received one share from Sovojovice, the other was owned by Jan V and Petr II. Dobřenský. After 1550, Jan VIII Dobřenský († 1593) combined both shares in his possession. His three daughters sold Syrovátka in 1604 to Johann Christoph von Waldstein . From him after 1620 Dorota Stašová from Zábědovice bought the village. This sold it in 1629 to the imperial chamberlain Johann Jacob de Vaggi von Vipach. In 1701 Perchtold von Waldstein bought the goods on Bělohrad . In 1730 Emanuel Jestříbský Ritter von Riesenburg acquired the place. In 1770 the houses were numbered. During these years a time of need began in Syrovátka. In 1771 food became scarce and more expensive. The following year the cattle died of an epidemic. In 1776, Wenzel Johann Clanner von Engelshofen became the owner of the property, followed by Michal Boleslavský Ritter von Ritterstein in 1800. The manorial court burned down twice in 1836 and 1846. It was not rebuilt after the second fire. Michal Václav Dobřenský von Dobřenice had a sugar factory built in its place between 1848 and 1850.

After the abolition of patrimonial rule , the municipality of Syrovátka in the Hradec Králové district was established in 1850. In 1861 the Kraus family from Pardubice bought the goods, and a year later they were sold to Karl Daniel Weinrich. In 1873 the railroad from Prague to Königgrätz started running and the Dobrenitz railway station was built on the north-western periphery of the village. In 1896 two street lamps were installed in the village. In 1907 the road from Dobřenice to the Dobřenice railway station was built. After the German occupation, the community's memorial book was withdrawn in 1940. During the time of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia , the municipality was called Syrovátka / Molken; the latter emerged as the Germanism of the Czech name. Between 1949 and 1960 Syrovátka belonged to the Okres Hradec Králové-okolí and from January 1, 1961 back to the Okres Hradec Králové. In 1989 Syrovátka was incorporated into Dobřenice . After the Velvet Revolution, it became independent again in 1990.
