Zachrašťany (German Zach quickly Tian ) is a municipality in Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers south of Nový Bydžov and belongs to the Okres Hradec Králové .
geography
Zachrašťany is on the right side of the Cidlina on a hill on the East Bohemian Table. The hill Kamenec (259 m) rises to the southwest. the railway line Velký Osek – Trutnov runs in the east .
Neighboring towns are Zábědov and Chudonice in the north, Osek and Humburky in the northeast, Vysočany in the east, Bydžovská Lhotka in the southeast, Mlékosrby , Luková and Zadražany in the south, Nepolisy and Žabí Lhotka in the southwest, Luřec nad Cidlinou in the west Northwest.
history
The first written mention of the place took place in 1287. The village of Zachrašťany was built on the site of an old fortress that was captured and destroyed in 1425 during the Hussite Wars .
After the abolition of the lordships formed Zachrašťany 1850 a town in the district Nový Bydžov . With the construction of the Groß Wossek-Wostromer railway line , the village received a railway connection in 1870. Since 1961 the municipality Zachrašany belongs to Okres Hradec Králové. Between 1980 and 1990 Zachrašťany was incorporated into Nový Bydžov.
