history

Pšánky was probably founded in the 12th or 13th century. The village Blšany , which belonged to the estates of the Lords of Petrovičky , was first mentioned in writing in 1393. In 1511, Hašek Zvířetický von Wartenberg sold his festivals in Petrovičky including the associated village Pšánky to Jan Krupá from Probluz. This joined Pšánky to the rule Bašnice . Pšánky remained part of Bašnice for several centuries. Together with Hořice , Mlázovice , Chvalina, Milovice u Hořic , Bříšťany and Petrovice , Ferdinand I gave Pšánky to Count Jakob Strozzi von Streitenhal in 1635. At the beginning of the 19th century, the Counts of Harrach bought the village from the Strozzi and incorporated it into the Stračov estate .

After the abolition of patrimonial Pšánky formed a municipality in the Königgrätz district . At the end of the 19th century the community was reclassified to the Nová Paka district . In 1903 the village consisted of 32 houses and had 162 inhabitants. In 1924, as part of the land reform, the Count Harrach's large estates were parceled out. From 1949 to 1960 Pšánky was assigned to the Okres Hořice, since 1961 it has belonged again to the Okres Hradec Králové. In 1971 it was incorporated into Petrovice . The Pšánky community has existed again since 1993. Pšánky consists of 38 houses, the center of which is a large village square.
