history
Archaeological finds show an early settlement of the municipality. Was discovered u. a. Settlement pits , seven stool graves from the Early Bronze Age , urn graves from the Lusatian culture , a rotunda from the time of the bell-cup culture and a bronze ax.
Blešno was first mentioned in documents in 1496, when Johanka von Březovice gave the Třebechovice fortress, inherited from her father Přibík Kroměšín von Březovice, with the Třebechovice farm, some small towns and eleven villages, including Blešno, to Nicholas the Elder for 5000 Czech groschen . J. Trčka from Lípa sold it, who united it with his Opočno estate . After the death of Jan Rudolf Trčka von Lípa , the Opočno domain was confiscated by King Ferdinand II and pledged to the brothers Hieronymus and Rudolf von Colloredo-Waldsee in 1635 . From 1789 the Counts Colloredo- Mannsfeld followed, who owned the estate until the middle of the 19th century.
In 1836 the village of Bleschno , located in the Königgrätzer Kreis on the road from Hohenbruck to Königgrätz , consisted of 64 houses in which 362 people, including 99 Protestants, lived. There was an inn in the village. The Catholic parish was Hohenbruck, the Protestant prayer house was in a monastery . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village remained subject to the Opočno manor.
After the abolition of patrimonial Blešno formed from 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Königgrätz . From 1868 the community belonged to the Königgrätz district . The Protestants were repared from Kloster to Hohenbruck in 1870. In 1874 the railway from Königgrätz to Lichtenau was put into operation, but the trains rolled past Blešno. In 1913 the chapel was consecrated. In 1921 the Blešno railway station was built. In the 1921 census, 353 people lived in the 67 houses of Blešno, including 244 Catholics, 102 Evangelicals and seven Hussite brothers . In the event of a death in the village, the chapel bell was usually rung; if someone had converted to the Czechoslovak Church, it was forbidden to ring the bell when they died. Because of this custom, the municipality bought a new bell in 1922 and had a bell tower erected in front of the municipal office. The community was electrified in 1938. 1949 Blešno was assigned to the Okres Hradec Králové-okolí; this was repealed in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then the municipality has belonged to Okres Hradec Králové. On January 1, 1989 Blešno was incorporated into Třebechovice, since January 1, 1992 the community exists again. Blešno has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2003.
