history

The village was first mentioned in documents in 1360 as the property of the Königingrätzer citizen Zdislav. Later the Dubánský von Dubany bought the goods. They sold part of the property to Matějík and Jakub Saksch at the beginning of the 15th century. In 1419 Wilhelm Dubánský sold his remaining share to Jiří von Hradec Králové. At the beginning of the 16th century the village belonged to the town of Königingrätz, which sold the farm to Alexander Absolon von Dobříkov and his brother. In 1506 he bequeathed the goods to the city in a will. The council sold one of the farms to the citizen Jan Puška. Because of participation in the anti-Habsburg uprising, the town's goods were confiscated in 1547 by the Bohemian and Roman-German King Ferdinand I and one of the farms in Schestar was sold to Johann von Pernstein . He died the following year and his three sons Jaroslav , Vratislav and Vojtěch sold their goods to Zdeňek Záruba from Hustířan on Cerekvice . The king returned the other goods to the parish and hospital of Königingrätz in 1549. The following year the city bought back all of Ferdinand I's goods. After the Battle of the White Mountain , the goods of Königingrätz were again confiscated, and the city received them back in 1628.

After the abolition of patrimonial Všestary formed from 1850 a municipality in the Königgrätz district . On July 3, 1866, the warring Prussian and Austrian troops met on the Chlum during the German War . The bloody battle went down in history as the Battle of Königgrätz . In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Hradec Králové-okolí and came after its dissolution on January 1, 1961 to the Okres Hradec Králové.
