history
The first documentary mention of the village belonging to the Bidschow rule took place in 1393. In the Thirty Years' War went Kobylice.
Emperor Ferdinand II left the desert village to Johann Freiherr von Cordon in 1650. He sold the goods to the Braunau Benedictine monastery in 1686 . The order populated the village with German settlers and built the Neuhof Vorwerk to the north . In 1786, the settlement of Opatov was created by parceling out the corridors of the Neuhof.
After the abolition of patrimonial Kobilitz / Kobylice formed with the districts Opatow and Chmelovice from 1850 a municipality in the Nový Bydžov district . In 1902 the community, including its two districts, consisted of 65 houses and had 292 inhabitants. Chmelovice broke up in 1911 and formed its own political municipality. In 1940 210 people lived in the 44 houses of the community. In 1961 Kobylice was incorporated into Prasek and assigned to Okres Hradec Králové. The community has existed again since 1992.
