Kosičky (German Kleinkositz ) is a municipality with 352 inhabitants in the Czech Republic.
location
Kosičky lies at an altitude of 224 m above sea level. M. in the wide plain of the Bystřice on the north bank of the river. The village, ten kilometers southeast of Nový Bydžov , belongs to the Okres Hradec Králové . The sister village of Kosice is one kilometer to the west .
Kosičky has a parish area of 784 hectares and consists of 122 houses.
history
The village was first mentioned in 1369 as the property of Čeněk von Přestavlky. In 1437 Jiří and Karel von Pouchobrady became the owners of Kosičky. In 1521 the owner of the Chlumetz estate , Wilhelm Kostka von Postupice , acquired the village and the Kosičky residents remained subjects of the estate until the landlord was replaced in 1848.
On the corridor of Kosičky, on the opposite bank of the Bystřice, accessible via a bridge, lies the Třesice desert . The village was destroyed in the Thirty Years War and not rebuilt. To the east of the desert is the 70 hectare Třesický rybník pond , which, along with other smaller ponds, has a rich population of water birds.
