Family coat of arms of the Kostka von Postupitz

The Kostka von Postupitz (former spelling Kostka von Postupicz ; Czech Kostka z Postupic , also Kostkové z Postupic ) is an extinct Bohemian nobility with a tribal relationship to the Osek von Riesenburg and the Hrabischitz . As a common coat of arms they carried an upright rake with seven prongs on top. Since the end of the 14th century the Kostka called themselves after the ancestral seat Postupice near Beneschau in Central Bohemia from Postupitz and are documented with Zdeněk Kostka von Postupitz, who is also known as Zdeněk von Křemenice , for the years 1379-1401. With him the uninterrupted tribal line begins.

Around 1440, his four sons established a family statute with Primogenitur succession and acceptance of the title: Ruler of the House of Kostka von Postupitz for the head of the house. The sex took the 24th place in the oldest Bohemian lordship order from 1501.
