history
The first written mention of Lovčice comes from 1299, when the village belonged to the lords of Hradišťko and Žiželice . A fortress was established in the 14th century and the brothers Heník and Přibik von Jikva are known to have owned it from 1355 to 1377. In addition to the fortress, there was at least one farm owned by Čéč von Lovčice from 1365 to 1366. He was followed from 1371 by Přibík von Malovic and ten years later Bonec von Lovčice. In 1419 Zdislav von Lovčice bought the fortress and farm. After that, the village belonged to Jindřich von Slibovice, from whom it was bought in 1437 by the brothers Erazim and Petr von Lovčice. During the Hussite Wars, the villages of Vančice and Praskolesy to the west of Lovčice became extinct. Subsequently, there were multiple changes of ownership and finally a division, in which the village was divided between the Lords Slibowitz and Chlumetz . The festivities went out in the 16th century. Burian Apollon von Skřivany bought part of Lovčice together with Slibowitz in 1490.
In 1521 Wilhelm Kostka von Postupitz sold Lovčice together with Chlumetz to Vojtěch von Pernstein (1490–1534) . In 1634 the Swedes burned the village of Blud down, and a farm was later built in its place. Franz Ulrich Kinsky joined Lovčice in 1697 to the Chlumetz rule. The place was surrounded by two stately hunting grounds. To the east of the village lay the forest areas of the Karlskron Castle and to the southwest the large Žehuň zoo with the new hunting lodge, into which the Bluder Tor led, was connected. A sugar factory has been built on Kaiserstrasse near Slibowitz since the middle of the 19th century.
After the abolition of patrimonial Lučice formed a political municipality in the Nový Bydžov district from 1850 . In 1901 the railway from Chlumetz to Königstädtel was inaugurated. The village has been called Lovčice since 1878. On January 1st, 1961 Lovčice came to Okres Hradec Králové.
