history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1306 at the time of the queen widow Elisabeth Richza in the course of a heretic trial against residents of Divec. In 1417 the village was partly owned by Hynek from Červená Lhota, another part belonged to the Opatovice monastery . Around 1450, Peter von Adersbach acquired the village. After Nicholas III. Trčka from Lípa had bought Divec in 1500, he added the village to his rule Smiřice . The Smiřický von Smiřice sold the village to Aleš Rodovský von Hustířany around 1550. Other owners were the Hrušovský from Hrušov, Mikuláš Bořek Dohalský, Zikmund Mladota from Solopisk , Jan Hamza from Zábědovice and from 1631 Adam Erdmann Trčka from Lípa , who connected the goods back to Smiřice.
After the abolition of patrimonial Divec formed from 1850 a municipality in the district of Hradec Králové . The village school was built in 1877. Around 1900 Divec consisted of 43 houses and had 245 inhabitants. In 1947 the school was closed. Between 1949 and 1960 the municipality belonged to the Okres Hradec Králové-okolí. Since the beginning of 1961 she came back to Okres Hradec Králové. The former school became the seat of the local national committee and the community library. In 1971 Divec was incorporated into Černilov . The school was then used as a magazine for the Hradec Králové District Archives. In 1992 the Divec community was re-established. The old school was demolished in the 1990s.
