Trávník (German Eichelburg , also Trawnik ) is a district of the municipality Osice in Okres Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic . It is located twelve kilometers southwest of the city center of Hradec Králové .

geography

Trávník is located on a hill of the Dobřenická plošina ( Dobrzenitzer plateau ). The Třesický stream has its source in the village. The Chlumec nad Cidlinou – Międzylesie railway line runs north of the village .

Neighboring towns are Lhota pod Libčany in the north, Urbanice and Hubenice in the northeast, Sedlice in the east, Polizy in the southeast, Osice in the south, Osičky in the southwest, Syrovátka in the west and Roudnice in the northwest.

history

The village was founded in 1777 on the corridors of the dissolved Meierhof Trawnik and was named Eichelburg in honor of the Imperial and Royal Court Commissaire Freiherr von Aichelburg who was present during the empyteutization of the Meierhöfe in the Pardubitz rule . Later, the place was in honor of Emperor Joseph II. In Josephsburg renamed, but this name could not prevail.

In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim District Dominikaldorf located Eichelburg or Trawnik of 13 houses where 83 people lived. The parish was Wositz . Up until the middle of the 19th century, Eichelburg remained subordinate to the kk cameraman of Pardubitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Trávník formed from 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Pardubice . In 1868 it was incorporated into Polizy, at the same time the village was assigned to the newly formed Pardubitz district . In 1919 Trávník broke away from Polizy and formed its own community. In 1949 Trávník was assigned to Okres Hradec Králové-okolí; this was repealed in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then the municipality has belonged to Okres Hradec Králové. In 1967 Trávník was incorporated into Osice and in 1980 with this together to Lhota pod Libčany . On November 24, 1990, Osice, Trávník and Polizy broke away from Lhota pod Libčany and formed the Osice municipality. On March 3, 1991 the place had 86 inhabitants; in the 2001 census, there were 126 people living in the 30 houses in Trávník.
