history

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1395 under the name Biednicz . The place was on an old country trail from Prague via Poděbrady , Chlumec nad Cidlinou , Dobřenice , Osičky and Osice to Hradec Králové. In 1414 the village partially belonged to the Zeman Prokop of Pravy and the Libčan clergyman Václav Zdislav. At that time the place was called Hubenicze ; Both forms of name are probably derived from misery and poverty. Prokop von Pravy sold his stake to Václav von Čečeves . At the end of the 15th century Wilhelm von Pernstein bought the village. When Jaroslav von Pernstein sold the Pardubice reign to King Ferdinand I in 1560 , Hubenicze was one of their estates. In the course of raabization in 1774, the manorial corridors were parceled out and sold to several farmers and chalupners .

In 1835, the village of Hubenitz , located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 13 houses in which 88 people lived. The parish was Liebtschan . Until the middle of the 19th century, Hubenitz remained subordinate to the kk cameraman Pardubitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Hubenice formed from 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Pardubice . In 1868 it was incorporated into Polizy, at the same time the village was assigned to the newly formed Pardubitz district . In 1919 Hubenice broke away from Polizy and formed its own municipality. In 1949 Hubenice was assigned to the Okres Hradec Králové-okolí; this was repealed in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then the municipality has belonged to Okres Hradec Králové. In the course of the drainage of Hubenice, the pond was created at the eastern end of the village. In 1976 Hubenice was incorporated into Lhota pod Libčany. On March 3, 1991 the place had 73 inhabitants; in the 2001 census, there were 87 people in the 27 houses in Hubenice.
