Nedabylice is a medieval deserted village in the area of ​​the municipality Chýšť in Okres Pardubice , Czech Republic .

The Nedabylice desert, surrounded on three sides by forests, is located just under two kilometers northeast of the village Chýšť above the former Kocouřík pond in the valley of the Starovodský creek. The road from Chýšť to Chudeřice runs to the west. The Nedabylice (288 m nm) rises to the northeast, the Soudný (288 m nm) to the east, the Jitra (272 m nm) to the south and the Kačerový kopec (271 m nm) to the southeast.

To the east of the deserted village, on the edge of the Vrše forest, there are three forest ponds called Běloveské rybníčky . Between the Dolní běloveský rybník and the Prostřední běloveský rybník was the location of the extinct fortress Nedabylice .

history

The first written mention of Nedabylice was in 1376 as a predicate of Bransud by Nedabylice. Sedláček saw a wave of terrain at the pond Kocouřík as the location of the oldest seat of the Zemanen of Nedabylic, which he described as a water fortress protected by a double ditch with an embankment and on one side by the pond with access via a dam. In 1378 a newly built fortress was mentioned, which was located above the village and was protected by ponds and impenetrable forests. In 1388 Přibek from Nedabylic and in 1407 Myslibor from Nedabylic was mentioned as the owner of the fortress. According to tradition, Nedabylice is said to have been devastated during the Hussite Wars . In 1437 Diviš from Nedabylic bought the fortress with the associated goods.

Since the middle of the 15th century, the Zemanen von Nedabylic carried the predicate Straka von Nedabylic according to their coat of arms, in which they carried a white rooster . Jan Straka, who is documented between 1447 and 1469 and was in the service of the robber baron Jan Kolda von Náchod , acquired some small goods near Náchod . The village in 1480. The last time was mentioned in 1571 Nedabylice was in Chlumec Urbar as a rule to Chlumetz belonging desolate village with 23 line 21 Záhon ( beds listed) farmland. In the 19th century the name Nedabylice was transferred to a farm . The corridor is now called V Nedabylicích .

In some writings, Nedabylice is confused with the nearby deserted village of Michnovka.
