Leon Machère (born April 16, 1992 in Prizren , Kosovo ; bourgeois Rustem Ramaj ) is a German - Albanian web video producer and rapper .
Life
On November 16, 2011, Rustem Ramaj created his YouTube channel Leon Machère . Under the name AlbarazzTV he published on some songs before becoming a prank - Comedy let it be format. He shot various videos with ApoRed and slowly became popular in the scene. He reached over 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube.
On March 17, 2017, he published his rap album FAME on Chapter ONE , which holds the negative record on Amazon as the worst rated rap album. Nevertheless, the album reached number 15 in the German album charts.
In March 2017, a spontaneous appearance by the artist escalated on Königsplatz in Augsburg, where a fan group of over 1200 people gathered in a relatively short time. This unauthorized event had to be broken up by the police, whereupon Ramaj insulted the police with penetrating Duzen and insulted them in later videos as "fucking cops". A year later he was sentenced to 130 daily rates of 250 euros each, a total of 32,500 euros. He appealed against this but failed to appear for the trial, so the sentence eventually became final.
In August 2018, another penalty order was issued against him. During a so-called “prank” in Hamburg, he drove through the city with flashing lights and a siren and asked passers-by to undress. In another video, he faked a crime in front of police officers by pretending to be spraying graffiti with a can of deodorant . Overall, he was sentenced to a fine of 37,500 euros for pretending to be a criminal and presuming to act. After an objection, the proceedings for pretending to be a criminal offense and presumptuousness were discontinued and the fine was set at 25,000 euros.
On July 27, 2018, he released his single Copacabana, which reached over 53 million views on YouTube and the top 20 of the German and Austrian charts by the end of March.
