ApoRed (bourgeois: Ahmad Nadim Ahadi ; born March 12, 1994 ) is a German web video producer with Afghan roots from Hamburg , who was initially best known as Let's Player and now mainly publishes reactions, gaming videos and rap music . Because of the content of its videos, ApoRed has come under public criticism.

Career

ApoRed has been running a channel on YouTube since August 16, 2011, which initially featured Let's Plays. Since 2015 he mainly creates clickbait videos. Well-known YouTubers such as Leon Machère and Simon Desue appear in several of his videos . ApoRed is also often in conflict with other YouTubers and is therefore repeatedly criticized, especially on the platform itself. Many of his videos are controversial because, for example, he allowed himself to be locked up illegally on various nights in a cinema, a restaurant and a furniture store, and also because his pranks made people permanently anxious and showed himself unreasonable about the damage he caused. He received several criminal charges for these videos .

On October 9, 2015, ApoRed released its first own music video Photoshop , which had over 29 million views by March 2018. Since then, other music videos have followed: Everyday Saturday , Numero Uno , Babawagen , Range Rover Mansory , Yalla Habibi , Lambo Gallardo and Billo . There are several versions of some of the songs. The video Everyday Saturday - Remix , which received over 900,000 dislikes, earned ApoRed the title of "Most Unpopular YouTube Rapper".

In 2016, ApoRed posted a prank video in which he tossed people a bag and then claimed the bag contained a bomb. Several witnesses suffered from anxiety disorders afterwards . In October 2017 ApoRed was because of this Pranks after about two weeks of detention to a prison sentence convicted of seven months' probation and 200 hours of work. An appeal filed by his lawyer was rejected in March 2018. In addition to bodily harm, coercion and disturbance of the public peace, ApoRed was accused of violating the art copyright law with this prank , as he published the video without the consent of those involved.

In November 2017, ApoRed began regularly uploading videos for the computer game Fortnite on its YouTube gaming channel RedSama . His tour, titled Baba Tour and Nine Dates, was supposed to start in December of that year, but was canceled because he did not appear at a court hearing for his bombing video, so he was in custody at the beginning of October of that year and it was decided that the Cancel tour.

For a long time, his videos on his main channel ApoRed were set to private, so they were not visible to the public. In November 2019, he finally stated that he had deleted this channel. In the same month he created a music channel called ApoRed Music , on which all of his musical activities are uploaded. Finally, in March 2020, it was announced that its original main channel was merely renamed Yalla Gang ( proper spelling : YALLA GANG ). On July 16, 2020, he announced in a video on ApoRed Vlogs that he would delete his channel because he no longer vlogs. As a supporting act , he is expected to appear in two of Pietro Lombardi's open-air concerts in August.
