Chapter ONE
Chapter ONE is a hip hop label affiliated with the major label Universal Music . The Universal Music Division is based in Berlin and works primarily with German rappers. In addition to the classic sales label structures through which indie labels are supported and developed from a sales point of view, Chapter ONE has also specialized in working with newcomers. For this purpose, the label launched the newcomer contest #Raptags in cooperation with Spinnup Germany.
history
The Chapter ONE label was founded in 2014 by Ramin Bozorgzadeh. After many years of successful work with other German music distributors, the Head label dedicated itself to its own project, its own division. In the meantime, Chapter ONE is one of the most famous hip hop distributors in Germany and has well-known partners, artists and publications. In cooperation with labels like Auf! Neine! Fall! , Berliner Plattenbau or JINX Music, they were able to successfully launch or establish artists such as 187 Strassenbande , the SDP and SXTN bands, among others .
