Juri , actually Juri Abdul (born December 3, 1989 in Volgograd , Soviet Union ), is a German-speaking rapper with Russian and Afghan roots who rapped under the name “Joka” or “Joka 31” from 2008 to 2011 - not to be confused with Jochen Burchard's alias " JokA ".

Career

Juri lives in Kassel . With his video Meine Stadt: Kassel he achieved several 1000 clicks on the YouTube video portal . In 2009 his mixtape CD Friday the 13th was released , to which Jeyz , Jonesmann , Real Jay, Amar , Brenna, Jasha, RAF and D-Zet also contributed as feature guests . Together with Automatikk , he created Automatikk feat. Joka 31 - There are no opponents. He also worked on the album Parallels United RMX by Celo & Abdi .

Under his real first name Juri he was part of the Moneyrain Entertainment crew ( Spongebozz / Sun Diego , John Webber ) until 2015 . He took part in the Battlerap tournaments RBA and JMC . He has been under contract with Sun Diego 's Bikini Bottom Mafia label since 2016 . The artist's new album, called "Bratans from Favelas", was released on June 29, 2018 via this label. Both Sun Diego (alias Spongebozz) and Scenzah , both artists who are under contract with the Bikini Bottom Mafia label, are featured as feature guests on "Bratans from Favelas" and the bonus EP "BBM Champions League, Vol. 1" .

In autumn 2019 he accompanied Kollegah as a tour guest on its monument tour .

February 20th. In 2020 his new single “Drug Dealers Dream” came out, which is also conceived as the first single from Juri's second album, namely Bratans from Favelas 2.
