Amar (* 1983 in Mediaș ; also known as Amargeddon or Amardeus ; bourgeois Markus Endörfer ) is a Romanian - German rapper and music producer , who became known primarily through collaborations with rapper Kool Savas .

life and career

Amar, who was born in Transylvania , came to Germany with his parents in 1990. He dropped out of school after eleven years of school and opted for a career as a rapper. Soon after, he was signed by Kool Savas to his label Optik Records . Here Amar released his mixtape Cho! Here you have your mixtape and was among other things on the label sampler Optik Takeover! represented. After Optik Records closed in 2009, the rapper was quiet for the time being.

In September 2013, it became known that Amar was in custody and faces a prison sentence. Despite the imprisonment, Amar's debut album was announced for 2014, the release of which was taken care of by his companion Ercandize . On May 16, 2014, the album Amargeddon 2010 was finally released by DJ Gan-G on the Major Movez label . The sound carrier was able to enter the German charts at number 51 for a week. In addition to his long-time companions Kool Savas, Ercandize and Moe Mitchell, the album also features guest contributions by rappers Silla , MoTrip , Timeless , Bosca and Separate .

In early 2015, Amar announced that he would be released on July 19 of the same year.

On May 25, 2018, his second studio album, Erst Straße then Rap , was released, which reached number 100 in the German charts.
