The Mračnický potok (German Gaminbach ) is a right tributary of the Černý potok in the Okres Domažlice in the Czech Republic .

course

The Mračnický potok rises about one kilometer south of Luženičky or east of Draženov at the one-layer Na Jámách in the Chodská pahorkatina. Its source is located at the south-western foot of the Jalovčí hill (515 m nm). At its upper reaches the brook initially flows to the northwest; after 500 meters it takes a northerly direction and meanders in a shallow meadow valley past Luženičky and through Luženice. At Bozdíš, the Mračnický potok turns again to the northwest and is dammed in the Březí pond. The stream leaves this again in a northerly direction and flows through Březí. South of Meclov the stream changes direction to the northwest and flows through Mračnice. Its lower course leads north again through the Podhájí pond and the settlement of the same name. After 10.4 kilometers, the Mračnický potok joins the Černý potok east of Mašovice .

The Mračnický potok flows exclusively through a sparsely populated rural area and has been dammed in numerous ponds. The Wostirschener pond west of Bozdíš is one of the ponds that are now abandoned. At the Podhájí pond there is a natural swimming pool and a larger holiday home area.
