The Černý potok , in sections also Čerchovka or Horšovský potok (German Schwarzbach , on the upper reaches of the Chodenschlosser Bach ) is a right tributary of the Radbuza in the Czech Republic .
course
The Černý potok rises a good kilometer north of the Čerchov ( Schwarzkopf ; 1042 m nm) in the Upper Palatinate Forest / Český les. Its source is located on the eastern slope of the Černovrší foothill ( Black Mountain ; 793 m nm). The Teplá Bystřice ( Warm Pastritz ) and another Černý potok, which flows into the Bohemian Schwarzach as Schwarzbach in Bavaria near Höll, also arise in the immediate vicinity .
In its upper reaches, the Černý potok flows first in a northeasterly direction through extensive forests to Rudolfova Pila and turns there to the southeast. The stream then reaches Pec via Mlýneček , where its direction of flow changes to the northeast. At Na Šlejfu the Černý potok leaves the protected landscape area of Český les. The Domažlice – Tachov railway crosses the stream between Pila and Trhanov . The stream then flows northwards past Nový Hamr, Klenčí pod Čerchovem , Dlouhý Mlýn, Ždánov , Červený Mlýn, Nový Pařezov , Podhamří, Papírna, Starý Pařezov , Otov and Ohnišťovice through the Chodská pahorkatina. Below Ohnišťovice, the Černý potok turns to the east and takes a north-easterly direction at Meclov . The towns of Mašovice, Podhájí and Svatá Anna lie along its lower reaches. After 27.8 kilometers, the Černý potok flows into the Radbuza opposite Nová Ves at the Novoveský rybník pond . Its catchment area covers 170.3 km², of which 2 km² are in Germany .
Between the confluence of the Klenečský potok and Nový Pařezov brooks, the Postřekovské rybníky nature reserve extends to the left of the brook. The Staňkov – Poběžovice railway follows the course of the brook between Meclov and Svatá Anna.
