Luženičky (German Klein Luschenitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers northwest of Domažlice and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .

geography

Luženičky is located on the upper reaches of the Mračnický brook . To the northeast rise the Háj ( Waldowaer Hay , 499 m), the Na Mýti (531 m) and the U Kapličky ( Kapellenberg ) and in the southeast of the Jalovčí (515 m).

history

The first documentary mention of the village was made in 1543 in the land table as the property of the town of Domažlice . Because of the city's participation in the uprising against the Habsburgs, their goods were confiscated by the court chamber in 1547. In 1549 the town bought back several villages, including Luženičky and Luženice.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Malé Luženice / Small Luschenz and Velké Luženice / United Luschenz 1850 the community Luženice / Luschenz in Pilsen county and judicial district Taus. From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Taus district . In 1924 the names of the districts of Velké Luženice in Luženice and Malé Luženice in Luženičky were changed. In 1949 Luženičky broke away from Luženice and formed its own community. On November 26, 1971, Luženice was incorporated.

Community structure

The municipality Luženičky consists of the districts and cadastral districts Luženičky ( Klein Luschenitz ) and Luženice ( Groß Luschenz ).

  • Chapel in Luženičky, built in 1935
  • Luženická lípa, the 18.5 m high winter linden tree with a trunk circumference of 3.36 m stands on a hill above Luženice. It has been protected as a tree monument since 1980.
