Kaničky (German Kanitschek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 14 kilometers northwest of Klatovy and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .
geography
Kaničky is located in the Švihovská vrchovina in the valley of the Merklínka brook . The Buková hora (578 m) rises to the north, the Na Kamejkách (615 m) to the south and the Radlice (603 m) to the northwest.
history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1379.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Kaniczky / Kaničky a district of the municipality Chotzomischl in the judicial district Klatovy. From 1868 the community belonged to the Klattau district . In 1948 Kaničky became independent. In 1960 the municipality was reclassified from Okres Klatovy to Okres Domažlice . Between 1980 and 1990 Kaničky was incorporated into Koloveč .
