Hlohovčice (German Lohowschitz , formerly Lohowtschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers southeast of Staňkov and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .
geography
Hlohovčice extends to the left of the Srbický creek in the Chodská pahorkatina. Road II / 185 between Staňkov and Srbice runs through the village .
history
Hlohowczicz was first mentioned in a document in 1381.
After the abolition of patrimonial Lohowtschitz formed from 1850 a municipality in the Pilsener Kreis and judicial district Bischofteinitz . From 1868 the community belonged to the Bischofteinitz district . In 1948 Hlohovčice was assigned to Okres Stod, and since 1961 the village has belonged to Okres Domažlice . From 1961 to 1990 Hlohovčice was incorporated into Srbice.
