Černovice (German Czarlowitz , also Tscharlowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eleven kilometers northeast of Horšovský Týn and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .

Černovice is located in the valley of the Hořina brook in Chodská pahorkatina.
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1362.
After the abolition of patrimonial Tscharlowitz formed from 1850 a community in the Pilsener Kreis and judicial district Bischofteinitz . From 1868 the community belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .
After the Munich Agreement , Tscharlowitz was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .
In 1961 Černovice was incorporated into Bukovec , and between 1984 and 1990 the village was part of Holýšov . Since November 24, 1990, Černovice and the district Nemněnice form a municipality.
Community structure
The municipality Černovice consists of the districts and cadastral districts Černovice ( Tscharlowitz ) and Nemněnice ( Nemlowitz ). The one-shift Charlotta also belongs to Černovice.
