Nová Ves (German Neudorf b. Neugedein ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eleven kilometers southeast of Domažlice and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .
geography
Nová Ves is located east of the Neumarker Pass in the Cham-Further depression ( Všerubská vrchovina ) in the basin of the Novoveský potok. To the west rises the Čepice (655 m), north of the Bezný (658 m) and in the southwest of the Svatá Anna ( Tannaberg , 515 m) with the church of St. Anna. The Chamb (Kouba) rises to the southeast of the village . The railway line from Klatovy to Domažlice runs north of Nová Ves through the valley of the Zahořanský potok , to the west of the village is the Chodská Lhota train station . Nová Ves lies on the European watershed , the Zahořanský potok belongs to the catchment area of the Elbe and the Novoveský potok leads its water over the Hájecký potok into the Chamb and thus the Danube.
Neighboring towns are Kdyně and Brnířov in the north, Hluboká in the north-east, Vítovky and Na Šteflích in the south-east, Hyršov and Chalupy in the south, Hájek in the south-west, Brůdek and Hamličky in the west and Starec and Prapoříště in the north-west.
