Nevolice (German Newolitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located two kilometers south of Domažlice and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .

Nevolice is located in the Cham-Further valley ( Všerubská vrchovina ). The village lies on the left side above the valley of the Nevolický creek on a hill. To the east rises the Dlouhá hora (473 m), in the southeast the Na Skále (468 m), to the southwest the Kubičková skála (513 m) and the Zadní skála (600 m), to the west the Dmout (603 m) and the Veselá hora (589 m) and northwest of the Na Šibenici (473 m).

Neighboring towns are Domažlice in the north, Bořice in the northeast, Smolov and Spáňov in the east, Kout na Šumavě and Mrákov in the southeast, Podveský Mlýn and Tlumačov in the south, Pasečnice and Stráž in the southwest, K Vavřinci, Na Pile and Valcha in the west and Havlovice in the north-west .

history

The first written mention of the village took place in 1586 in the Tauser town book on the occasion of the sale of a pond at Nevolický potok. The lords of Lobkowicz , the town of Taus and the Augustinian monastery took turns as owners of Nevolice . In 1848, 243 people lived in the 36 houses in the village.

After the abolition of patrimonial Nevolice / Newolitz formed a community in the judicial district of Taus from 1850. From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Taus district . The village smithy was established in 1875. The volunteer fire brigade was formed in 1916. In 1920 the village was electrified. In 1921 Nevolice had 262 inhabitants. The school was inaugurated on September 20, 1937.

The former village blacksmith's shop is now the seat of the municipal office and the club restaurant Cíbovna is located in it.
